Just as food is to the body so is music to the soul. To ensure that the folk and traditional music does not fade into memory a 3 days workshop on learning and teaching music was organized to all the teaching fraternity of the Ramanagar District. Over 109 teachers/ faculty attended the training and benefitted from it.

Dr. M P Kamath who are world renowned in the field of Sugama Sangeeta ensured that the participants learnt the art of proper singing and proper ways to teach to students of different ages.
